Tuesday Evening Session

Drills, Zills and Veil Workout

Day:Tuesday
Time:7:30-8:30 p.m.
Cost:
  • Drop in fee: $15 / class
  • $60 for 5-class card, good for 3 months

Classes with Alyne start December 7, every Tuesday from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. (check calendar for blackout dates---at present no class on 1/18). We'll follow a syllabus to gain skills in isolations, slow and percussive breaks, footwork and phrasing. Bring finger cymbals and silk veil to class, as sessions will provide an opportunity for building these skills. Very short choreographies will be danced as method for gaining confidence and exploring self expression.

I'll introduce a method to build your own dances, and/or feel free to use the dances we create in class for your performances. Sessions will be small so you can make the most of getting the guidance you want and the cardio workout we crave! Novice dancers will gain confidence with foundation elements of our dance, re-entry and intermediate dancers will find a challenge in complimentary accelerated drills. It all works together for a fun and invigorating evening doing what we love.

Check my calendar for other information about dance skills, and, you can download the brochure which outlines my recommended basic skills, and the finger cymbal patterns from my website.
