Intro/Novice Level 11:00 am -12:30 pm
Brief theory of veil work--how veils behave with respect to choice of fabrics and shape, similarities and differences between single/double veil techniques. How to hold double veils, fundamentals of getting inside and out--training tips on developing strength, skill, spins! Performance elements: building a repertoire of double veil effects: anchored and unanchored veil moves, standing taxim and traveling moves, considerations and formula for creating graceful transitions between effects. Printed teaching notes provided including a choreography for self study.
Intermediate Level 12:45 pm to 2:15 pm
Guided exercises to help your double veil effects achieve their maximum potential. Presentation and instruction of a customized choreography designed to use veil effects to best advantage.
